WWE star Bray Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, passed away at the age of 36.
The news was announced by Paul “Triple H” Levesque, the chief content officer of the WWE, on social media. According to him, the news of his unexpected demise was shared by WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, Bray Wyatt’s father.
“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time,” Triple H wrote on his X account.

The cause of Wyatt’s death was not announced, however, TMZ reported that he died of a heart attack.
According to TMZ, Wyatt had been inactive in WWE for several months due to undisclosed health concerns. He had a significant career in WWE, winning world championships three times, including the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship.
Notably, he reinvented himself as “The Fiend” after a break in 2018-2019. However, his absence from WWE in 2021 and 2022 came as a surprise. He made a remarkable return in September of last year.
