Yadgiri: Truck hits auto carrying Kuruba conf attendees; 1 dead, many injured

Yadgiri: One died and many were injured after the 8-seater autorickshaw they were travelling in was hit by a truck in the district here.
The autorickshaw passengers were supposed to travel to Bengaluru to attend the Kuruba conference organised there.
The conference attendees were from the Ramasamudra village in the district here and were going to the railway station in the autorickshaw when the collision occurred.
The deceased has been identified as Sahadevappa (55).
Other who were injured in the collision have been admitted to the district hospital.
