Yakshagana Bhagvatha Patla Sathish Shetty to receive ‘Srushti Kalabandhu Award’

Mangaluru: Srushti Kala Vidyalaya will be conferring its “Srushti Kalabhushan Award” to ace Yakshagana Bhagvatha Patla Sathish Shetty.
Chayapathi Kanchibail, the founder of the Vidyalaya stated to reporters on Friday, January 24. The award is being given to Shetty for his services towards the art of Yakshagana and his welfare work through the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation.
The Vidyalaya will also be presenting its other award, the ‘Srushti Kalopasaka Award,’ to magician Prahalad Acharya.
The award ceremony will be held at RV Dental College and Hospital, JP Nagar, Bengaluru on February 2 as part of the decennial celebrations of the Vidyalaya.
