Yallapur: Man meets watery grave at Satoddi waterfall

Yallapur: In a tragic incident, a 50-year-old man died of drowning at Satoddi waterfall in Yallapur taluk.
The deceased identified as Potul Ram Rao (50), a resident of Hubballi was employed with the railways, Hubballi division.
Rao had come to Yallapur on a holiday trip with his family and friends on Sunday. The mishap took place when he ventured into the water for a swim. He however was washed away by the water current and rescue efforts by his friends went in vain.
Rao’s body was recovered on Monday, December 26 morning.
