Karnataka govt transfers several IPS officers

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government issued orders transferring several police officers on July 2.
As per the Government of Karnataka’s order, Yatish N has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Dakshina Kannada district. C.B. Ryshyanth is being transferred to the position of SP, Wireless, Bengaluru.
An IPS officer of the 2016 Karnataka cadre, Yatish N has been serving as the Superintendent of Police, Mandya District.
Several other IPS officers have also been transferred.
Notable among these transfers are:
- Sri Labhu Ram, Inspector General of Police, Intelligence, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Bengaluru.
- Dr. B.R. Ravikanthe Gowda, Inspector General of Police, Central Range, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Headquarters-1, Bengaluru.
- Dr. K. Thiyagarajan, Inspector General of Police, Eastern Range, Davanagere, has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Internal Security Division.
- Sri B. Ramesh, Commissioner of Police, Mysuru City, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eastern Range, Davanagere.
- Smt. Seema Latkar, Superintendent of Police, Mysuru District, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Mysuru City.
- Sri C.K. Baba, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South East Division, Bengaluru City, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru Rural District.
