Yedryurappa warns to hold a Bandh when Rahul Gandhi visits the state

Madikeri: BJP State President BS Yedyurappa has threatened to call for bandh in districts where Congress National President Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit.
Yedyurappa has alleged that the congress state government purposely held the bandh over Mahadayi issue to intrude with BJP National President Amit Shah’s Mysuru visit and when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bengaluru on February 4.
Speaking after inaugurating BJP ‘Parivartana Yatra’ in Gandhi Maidan here on Wednesday January 24, he expressed his dissatisfaction saying that Congress has indirectly come forward to observe Karnataka bandh through various organizations on January 25 and February 4.
He also warned that BJP will also hold a protest whenever AICC President Rahul Gandhi visits the state. He said that Congress is deliberately trying to hold bandh when Prime MinisterModi is visiting Bengaluru fro concluding Parivarthana Yathra.
He also said that Congress is creating unnecessary disturbance by calling bandh through other organizations on the same day when BJP National President Amit Shah is likely to visit Mysuru for Parivarthana Yathre. He also ensured that these things will not affect the functioning of Parivarthana Yathre and it will take place in presence of thousands and lakhs of activists.
Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the state next month. During his visit, he is also expected to hold a road show from Mangaluru to Udupi and visit various temples including Sri Krishna Math.
