Bengaluru: Hours after BS Yedyyurappa took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, he withdrew the security cover at Eagleton Resorts.

Outstandingly, the Congress had housed its MLAs at the resort dreading poaching by the BJP, which is yet to demonstrate its majority on the floor of the House.

The security was withdrawn soon after the transfer of Ramanagaram district superintendent of police B Ramesh, the reports said.

In the given situation it is learnt that the Congress is hoping to move its MLAs to a sheltered area out of the state. As of now, Congress pioneer DK Shivakumar has been given in-charge with duty of guarding the MLAs.
