Channapatna: BJP leader C P Yogeshwar on Thursday challenged JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy to contest and win from Chennapatna constituency.
Yogeshwar challenged Kumaraswamy by saying “Clogging from Ramanagar and Channapatna constituency is a misuse of money and vitality. Rather, challenge from my constituency, Chennapatna. I will acknowledge your candidature sportively and will prove my strength by emerging triumphant,”
He also said “Former PM H D Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy have stifled different leaders from the vokkaliga group. The father-son duo is emotionally blackmailing the voters,” he said.
Yogeshwar charged that the list of benami properties held by Kumaraswamy was too enormous. “Kumaraswamy possesses properties in Singapore and Malaysia,” he said.
“Numerous leaders in the JD(S) are leaving the party and joining the BJP,” he added.
