Young man builds house on rickshaw!; Anand Mahindra asks if he would be interested in designing one for Bolero pickup

Mumbai: Indian’s concept of homes incorporates a flat, villa, or an apartment, but here an architect from Tamil Nadu has built a fully equipped 1 BHK house on a desi rickshaw! Bewildering right?
However, Engine homes or Recreational Vehicles are not a prevalent concept in our country like the western world, even if an individual is inquisitive about buying an RV, they don’t come cheap which hinders individuals from buying it.
N.G. Arun Prabhu, a 23-year-old young architect has outlined this marvel by constructing what is likely India’s first portable home and he built the house, called ‘Solo 0.1’ in a pocket-friendly budget of Rs 1 lakh
This versatile house on autorickshaw has now caught the attention of none other than billionaire businessman Anand Mahindra.
“Apparently Arun did this to demonstrate the power of small spaces. But he was also on to a larger trend: a potential post-pandemic wanderlust and desire to be ‘always mobile.’ I’d like to ask if he’ll design an even more ambitious space atop a Bolero pickup. Can someone connect us?,” tweeted Anand Mahindra.
