A young man hailing from Bengaluru who went for a trek at Rani jhari Point in Durgadahalli, Chikmagalur district, has now gone missing.

Bharat, a recent B.E. graduate, was employed in a company until he was laid off with a severance package equivalent to three months’ salary. With this setback, Bharat embarked on a journey to Durgadahalli Rani jhari point, seeking solace.

Bharat’s parents who were awaiting his return initiated a search for their son in Chikmagalur. Upon reaching Rani jhari Point, they discovered Bharat’s bike with a T-shirt, mobile phone, and slippers abandoned at the hill’s summit.

The Balur police and forest department personnel have commenced a thorough search operation to locate Bharat and unravel the mystery behind his disappearance.
