Kaup: A young man, who was on the verge of drowning while setting out for traditional fishing, was rescued by locals at Kaup Beach on Sunday, September 1.
The youth, identified as Sachin (31), a resident of Padugrama, Kaup, faced the danger of drowning while fishing. He had ventured into the sea with a fishing net but soon found himself struggling in the water.
