Chikkanayakanahalli: The young men of Lakmagondahalli and Thimmalapura near here have a strange problem – they apparently can’t find a suitable bride-to-be.

During the “Zilladhikari Nade Halliya Kade” (district collector’s visit to the village) programme organized at Lakmagondahalli gram panchayat on Saturday, a group of youth has submitted a petition to the tehsildar that they could not find girls to marry.

The youth have demanded the government solve their unique problem.

They complained that women are not interested to marry in sons of peasants and farmers. So, the government should help “unmarried, single” men from the villages get hitched, they appealed.
