Youth being provoked to make anti-national statements: Kateel

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of pro-Pakistan slogans raised by few youths recently, BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel on Saturday said that youth today are engaged in anti-national activity.

Speaking to reporters in Puttur here, Kateel condemned Amulya leona for raising Pakistan Zindabad slogan at an anti-CAA event in Bengaluru and demanded strict punishment against her.

“An investigation must be conducted to determine if anyone else is involved behind Amulya’s actions. Event organisers must also be punished.

People born in this country are raising slogans favoring Pakistan.Youths are giving anti-national statements in guise of protests,” said Kateel.

Further Kateel alleged that Congress was provoking youth to make anti-national statements.
