Bengaluru: A 23-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself and recorded the act on his friend’s phone. Ajit Kumar hanged himself at his house in Munnekolalu, near Marathahalli, at around 12pm on Friday. His friend had gone out to relax when Kumar took his phone, put it on video recording mode and killed himself. When his friend came a few minutes later, looking for his phone, he found Kumar dead. There is no death note as such, but police suspect that the reason was disappointment over a love affair.
The only words Kumar spoke in the 5-minute video he recorded were “I love you”. Kumar’s body has been sent to his native place in Bihar. Six monthe ago, Kumar had come to Bengaluru to look for a job and was doing electrical work for daily wages.
