Youth Congress workers murder: police seize murder weapons

Kasaragod: More information was gathered by the police team investigating the murders of two Congress activists in Periya after taking the fourth accused Anil Kumar and seventh accused Vijin to the crime spot on Friday, February 22nd.

Two blood stained machetes were recovered from a rubber plantation nearby. Apparently the accused had gone to a house of the accused at Periya Paka, changed their clothes and attempted to dispose of the clothes they had worn during the crime by setting them on fire at a deserted location.

Previously on Wednesday, four deadly weapons had been recovered. Although 7 accused have been arrested in connection to the murder, details regarding the accused who plot the conspiracy is yet to be ascertained by the investigation team.
