Bantwal: A youth was killed when an auto rickshaw collided with his motorcycle at Kolake Barke in Sajipa Mooda village near here on Monday, November 26. The young victim is identified as Manvith.
Since the accident took place at a secluded spot, the auto-rickshaw bailed off soon after colliding with the bike. However, the absconding auto-rickshaw was spotted with the help of the public.
The youth suffered grievous head injury and was rushed to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Bantwal police have visited the spot and registered a case in this connection.
