Youth from Bengaluru goes missing during trekking to Rani Jhari Edge Point

A youth from Bengaluru, has gone missing during a trekking expedition at Rani Jhari Edge Point in Kottigehara.

The missing person has been identified as Bharat.

It is gathered that Bharat, a B.E. graduate, embarked on his bike for a solo trekking expedition to Durgadahalli Rani Jhari point in Mudigere taluk, Chikkamagaluru district. he was reportedly unemployed after his company terminated his employment, providing him with a severance package equivalent to three months’ salary.

Concerned about his sudden disappearance, his parents have journeyed to Chikmagalur in search of their son.

Meanwhile, Bharat’s motorbike, T-shirt, mobile phone, slippers and were found on a hill near Rani Jhari Edge Point trek. The Balur police, in collaboration with the forest department staff, have initiated a thorough search operation to locate him.
