Youth killed in bike-van collision

Kasargod: A 22-year-old engineering student was killed while another youth sustained injuries after their bike collided into a van at Mutta near Bandyodu here on Friday, February 7 morning.
The deceased, identified as Mohammed Shabil, a resident of Siribagilu was riding the bike when the mishap took place. He sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last.
Pillion rider Asheem, 22, too was injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
A case has been registered at Kumble police station.
