Youth killed in road mishap

Mangaluru: A head-on collision between a motorcycle and a goods tempo claimed the life of a 35-year-old youth at Gurupur Kaikamba near Bajpe on Friday, January 3 afternoon.

The deceased identified as Sukumar, a native of Chettehithilu was employed as a manager in MSEZ. He is survived by his parents, wife and two children.

The accident is said to have occurred due to negligence of the tempo driver.

Bajpe police registered a case.
