Youth pelts stones at police personnel after being stopped from crossing border

Mangaluru: Sullia police sub inspector and head constable sustained injuries after a youth allegedly pelted stones at them for stopping him from trying to cross the Kerala border here on Friday, April 3.
The injured are SI Bhaskar Prasad and head constable Ram Nayak
The incident took place at Mooroori in Sullia taluk here.
The police detained the youth identified as Sinan. He is said to be mentally unstable and has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
