Kundapur: A youth who was sitting on the protective wall of a well and playing on his cellphone accidentally fell in the well and drowned. The deceased youth has been identified as Gundiholi Basrur resident Bhaskar Poojary (21), son of Sheena Poojary.
Reportedly, Bhaskar was addicted to mobile games and was playing the same sitting on the wall of the well near Basrur welding shop when the incident took place on late Friday night.
Kundapur rural police have registered a case in this regard.
