Youth survives 150ft fall while clicking selfie at Charmadi Ghat

Chikkamagaluru: A youth miraculously survived a 150-feet fall while trying to click a selfie near Bidiruthala on Charmadi Ghat.

The incident took place on Sunday, June 30 when Satish from Neriya in Beltangady taluk was visiting Charmadi Ghat with his friends. The gang sighted a roadside fall and scaled atop the same. It was while trying to click a selfie that Satish lost his balance and fell down sustaining serious head injuries. He is admitted into a private hospital at Mangaluru.

Incidentally, a tourist was recording a video and the mishap was captured in the same. The video has now gone viral in social media.
