Youth takes expensive cigarette pack, bounds off without paying

Bantwal: In a peculiar incident, a group of youths procured four packs of expensive cigarettes from Manikya store located in front of a temple at Ganadapadpu in BC road at 8:30 pm on Sunday night and bound off without paying the dues. A video in connection to this event has gone viral on social media.
The youth who came on a bike, stopped the two wheeler on the road side, a youth got down and approached the shop and asked for the cigarettes. When the shop owner said the bill was Rs 600, the youth informed the owner that he would get the money from his friend on the bike and return and also asked the owner the keep a sprite bottle ready when he returns. Within moments, the youth bound off with his friend in the ready to escape bike.
On the next day, a similar act was pulled off at another shop at Manihalla. The CC camera at the shop has captured the face of one of the youths.
