Youth thrashed for saying this is Hindu Rashtra at mall

Mangaluru: A youth was thrashed by a group of students  at a mall here on Wednesday September 25. The victim of the attack is identified as Manjunath, a resident of Bantwal.

A video concerning this incidnet showing Manjunath getting beaten has gone viral on social media. The video shows Manjunath saying that this is Hindu Rashtra, followed by an argument between him and some youngsters and soon, the group of students attacks Manjunath.

City Police commissioner Dr P S Harsha said that investigation will be taken up over the incident. Meanwhile a case in this connection has been registered at Pandeshwar police station after the concerned cops arrived to the spot.
