Youth trapped in Kumaradhara river floodwaters, Rescued

Pulikukku:  A youth was seen trapped in the floodwaters of the Kumaradhara River, crying out for help on Monday morning. he was later rescued.

It is suspected that the youth might have attempted suicide by jumping into the river and got stuck in the middle of the river.

Adding to this suspicion, a bag believed to belong to the youth was found at the bus stop near the Pulikkukku bridge.

Fire department personnel rescued the youth. Kadaba police are present at the scene.

Suicide is preventable. If you get any such thoughts, consult or seek expert help.
