Gangavati: A group of youths from the Madiga community has reportedly waved black flags at Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s convoy during his visit to Anjanadri Hills on Monday.

As per the reports, the youths of the Madiga community had protested to implement the Sadashiva Committee Report at the earliest.

Youths Somanath Kampli and Balappa Kamadodi said, “We have been demanding for the past 10 years to implement internal reservations in SC/ST reservation as per the Sadashiva Committee Report. It is not implemented to date. This is injustice towards the Madiga community which falls under the SC category. We had also requested CM Bommai to implement the report, which has not paid off”.

The other protesters also opined the same.

Meanwhile, the police detained two youths for waving black flags against CM Bommai.
