You’ve no moral right to comment on CD case and undermine probe, Min Bommai to Cong

Bengaluru: Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai has blasted Congress for ‘undermining the seriousness of the investigation in the Jarkiholi CD case by unnecessary statements.’

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said the SIT investigation is being conducted according to law and the opposition party has no moral right to comment on the case.

“How can they (Congress) criticise us? Did they investigate former minister Hullappa Yamanappa Meti’s CD scandal? Did they even register an FIR in that case?” he questioned.

“The SIT will not give in to anyone’s pressure. They will bring the facts out, that is why efficient officers have been appointed in it for the investigation,” the minister said.
