Bengaluru: After actor Yuva Rajkumar issued a divorce notice to his wife, Sridevi Byrappa, serious allegations and counter-allegations have emerged from both sides.

Following the issuance of the divorce notice, Yuvraj Kumar’s lawyer, Cyril Prasad, held a press conference where he accused Sridevi Bhairappa of having an “illicit relationship”. In response, Sridevi accused Yuva Rajkumar of having an affair with Saptami Gowda. Subsequently, Sapthami Gowda filed a defamation case against Sridevi.

An audio recording, purportedly of Sapthami Gowda discussing Yuva Rajkumar, is now circulating on social media. In this viral audio, she addresses various issues.

What does the audio contain?

“Hi Sir, you must already know what happened. Please listen to my side of the story. I am not saying I haven’t made mistakes. I swear on my mother that I never asked Guru (Yuva’s original name) to leave his wife. You can ask anyone, including him. I have told him many times not to make this mistake. Yes… you may be angry with us, but please listen to my side of the story,” she says in the audio.

She continues, “Guru’s first film is important to you all. Everyone has worked hard on it. I won’t complicate things further. Criticize me if you want, but please hear my side. Before thinking poorly of me, ask what happened. Sir, I have unintentionally hurt others. But I believed in what I did. I only continued after Guru insisted. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have. I am sorry, Sir. I am just asking for a chance.”

It is alleged that after learning about Yuva’s relationship with Saptami, Sridevi confronted them on the set of movie ‘Yuva,’ reportedly leading producer Vijay Kiragandur to reprimand both Yuvraj and Saptami.

The circulating audio is reportedly sent by Saptami to the producers. The audio is now viral on social media, bringing the Yuvraj-Sridevi-Saptami issue back into the spotlight in Gandhinagar.
