Bengaluru: Chamrajpet MLA BZ Zameer Ahmmed Khan on Friday, September 11 hit back against businessman Prashant Sambargi for claiming links with actress Sanjjanaa Galrani on the ongoing drug case in the city.
In a series of Tweets, Khan wrote, “The accusation against me, with respect to the drug case, is far from the truth. I urge BS Yediyurappa and Home Minister to investigate the case and punish the guilty.”
“I have filed a complaint, in 24th Magistrate’s Court in Bengaluru, against Prashant Sambargi for his false accusations. A criminal case has been registered under Section 120 (B), 504, 463, 465, and 506 of the IPC. Police have ordered an investigation into this.” Khan wrote in another tweet.
“There are allegations that I had visited Sri Lanka on 08 June 2019 with Sanjana. This is totally false. Even if it were true, there should have been a trail of flight and hotel bookings or captures in CCTV cameras. Where are those?” he asked.
“BJP is in power now and Actress Sanjana is under Police custody. There is no chance of me influencing the investigation. Let them investigate thoroughly and collect evidence from her. Investigate about the trip to Sri Lanka also.” he said.
“If the allegations made by Sambargi on me are proved after an investigation by Police, I am ready to transfer all my property to the government. If the allegations are false, let the law of the land take action against the guilty,” he further added.
