The Law Ministry has increased fees for government counsels: Group 'A' lawyers will now receive Rs 21,600 per case per day (up from Rs 13,500), while Group 'B' and 'C' counsels will get Rs 14,400 (previously Rs 9,000) for regular appeals and defended petitions at final hearings.
